Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

No. At this time, all services are private pay.  A superbill can be provided at the conclusion of your child's intensive to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement. Many families do find grants or scholarships to use for their intensives!

How much do you charge for an intensive?

A standard weekly intensive (2 hour daily sessions for 5 days) is $1500. However, individualized intensives ranging from 60-120 minutes will be modified with same hourly rate.

Do you provide weekly sessions or only intensives?

When my schedule allows, I am able to schedule weekly, one-time sessions as well. I fill these in 1 month in advance based on the intensive schedule.

Does Little Leaps require a deposit?

Yes. A deposit of 30% is required at time of scheduling (this is refundable up to 30 days before the scheduled intensive). The remaining balance is due prior to the first day of the intensive.

What areas does Little Leaps serve?

Any location within 1 hour of Clarkesville! Locations >1 hour can be scheduled as well however they will require a travel fee.

Does Little Leaps have a weight or age limit?

No! I believe that kids of any age and size can benefit from DMI and intensives. Depending on size, modifications may need to be made to exercises or avoided, or extra support may need to be provided to ensure safety to myself and the child.

Will I receive exercises to work on with my child after the intensive?

Yes! Home exercises are a crucial part of continued growth and gains even after the intensive is over. The final 45 minutes of each intensive will include going over a home exercise program including handling so that the caregiver feels comfortable.
